It is time as Christians that we stand up to satan. I am pretty sure one day we are going to laugh at how small and pitiful he looks compared to us in the spiritual realm - but it's time to start to laugh at him now. We have the power, in Christ, to trample him. It's time to walk in that power!

As we celebrate Memorial Day with friends and family.... we also remember all the men and women who gave up their lives for us.

There is another who laid down his life for us. That is Jesus!

Jesus said in John 10:18 "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

When a Christian choses to show honor, God will honor them because they are honoring others. Guess what happens next? - their prayers are more effective.

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each others that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16

We are commanded by God not to fear.

Matthew 6:26-30, "Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifuly as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you.”
